Tour of the Grafton Centre

Residents will know that we have been liaising with John O'Shea (the Grafton Centre manager) about the redevelopment plans and how it will affect us. He has kindly offered a guided tour for interested residents. We will meet at the Management Office, which is in the middle of the Centre next to the lift.


History tour: Christ's College
Thursday, 20th August

"Power and Progress: Margaret Beaufort and Charles Darwin"
Join us for a visit to Christ’s College with the wonderful Yvonne Pincheon. Find out about the foundress, Margaret Beaufort, and one of its most famous alumni, Charles Darwin, and visit the room where he had his study. We will meet in the first court of Christ’s College. The cost is £10 per person, which will include tea in the Fellows’ Garden to end the visit. Places are limited to 12, so please let Jane know as soon as possible if you’d like to join by emailing janerickell@gmail.com
