The Management Board

The Management Board oversees our vibrant Cambridge Riverside development, and is made up of volunteers from among those who own flats or houses here. We act on behalf of the leaseholders (flat owners), freeholders (townhouse owners), tenants who rent and the commercial unit (the Dental Hub); we also liaise with the freeholder, Berkeley Group. To keep everything running smoothly, we've enlisted the expertise of Encore, our Managing Agent, who takes care of daily operations, concierge services and maintenance.

Our commitment to you includes meeting four times a year to manage the service charge budget, ensuring both annual expenditures and long-term maintenance are carefully planned. In addition, each year, we host an Annual General Meeting, and we encourage all leaseholders and freeholders to participate. Relevant documents, including the Chairman's Report and Service Charge Accounts, are distributed to owners by email.

Our Board currently has seven members, with room to grow, especially to enhance our diversity. The Board operates a number of committees and sub-groups to focus on specific areas.

Finance Committee: oversees the service charge budget and financial reporting.
Buildings and Grounds Committee: conducts site tours with Encore every six weeks or so, identifying and tracking necessary works.
Community and Facilities Committee: collaborates with the Residents' Association to address residents' concerns, emphasising effective communication. The Gardens Sub-Group, which reports into this committee, manages our gardens contractor and oversees continued enhancements to our green spaces. These two groups include representatives who are not Board directors, so if you would like to get involved, send us a message via the 'Get in touch' form.
In addition, a working group of Board directors meets annually to assess and review Encore's performance.
